Stripey the famous emu chick is now helping sick children in the Paediatric ward at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth. The images are digitally printed onto the walls, using a new technology and inks which are durable and cleanable. Hopefully this funny character will help distract children when they need it the most, plus brighten up the stark hospital corridors.
