Wendy Binks' We Didn't Do It presents three emus, side by side, staring you down with matching expressions of outraged innocence. Nobody blinked. Nobody looked away.
All three are deeply, personally offended by the suggestion. The bold brushwork and blazing sunset sky give the whole scene the energy of a standoff – all six eyes locked on you, daring you to push it further. It's funny the moment you see it, and it only gets funnier the longer you look.
Reproduced from Wendy's original hand-painted artwork and designed and made in Western Australia, this one's for anyone who's ever been on either side of a very unconvincing alibi. They were together all night. They can vouch for each other.
