Refund & Returns

We want you to genuinely love what you've taken home. Wendy's work is hand-painted, made mostly here in Western Australia, and meant to bring a bit of joy every day. So if something's not quite right when it arrives, please get in touch – we'd much rather hear from you than have something sitting in a drawer feeling unloved.

Here's how it all works.

If something's faulty, damaged or not as described

You're always covered by the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing on this page takes away from those rights.

Our products come with guarantees that can't be excluded. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly different from how it was described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund – and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For a major problem, the choice of refund or replacement is yours.

Just email info@wendybinks.com.au with your order number and a quick photo of the issue. The sooner the better while everything's fresh, but get in touch whenever you spot it – we'll sort it out.

If you've simply changed your mind

It happens. If a piece isn't right for your space, or the gift didn't land the way you hoped, we're happy to help with an exchange or store credit.

Reach out and let's have a chat. To swap or credit a change-of-mind return, we ask that:

  • the item is unused and in its original condition, with any packaging and tags
  • you have your order confirmation or proof of purchase
  • return postage is covered by you

Once your return arrives back safely and we've checked it over, we'll set up your exchange or pop your store credit through.

A few things we can't take back

Some items can't be returned for change of mind, simply because of how they're made:

  • Custom and personalised pieces – commissions, custom drink holders, magnets and the like are made just for you, so they can't be resold
  • Original paintings – please ask us anything before you buy; we're always happy to share more photos or detail
  • Gift cards

Arrived damaged in the post?

Oh no – let's fix it. Take a couple of photos of the item and the packaging, and email info@wendybinks.com.au with your order number as soon as you can. We'll organise a replacement.

How to start a return

  1. Email info@wendybinks.com.au with your order number and what's up (a photo helps for anything faulty or damaged).
  2. We'll reply with the next steps and, where it applies, the return address.
  3. Post the item back in its original condition – pop in something to protect it.
  4. Once it's back with us and checked, we'll process your replacement.
