Wendy Binks' Puzzled brings three emus together in a glorious tangle of necks, wild feathers, and matching expressions of absolute bewilderment.
One peers down from the top, one's wedged in sideways on the left, and one's squeezed in from the right – all three are equally wide-eyed, equally baffled, and equally convinced someone else has the answer. Against a sky that blazes from yellow through to deep red, the blue of their feathers absolutely pops. It's loud, it's funny, and it's impossible not to smile at.
Reproduced from Wendy's original hand-painted artwork and designed and made in Western Australia, this one's for anyone who's ever stood in a group and collectively had no idea what was happening – which is to say, all of us. Three heads. Still no answers. Brilliant.
